In 1950, Remington Arms introduced the Model 870 shotgun. The Remington 870 is a famous pump-action shotgun thanks to its signature action.

With its under-barrel tubular magazine and sliding fore-end, the Remington 870 shotgun features side-ejection, bottom-feeding, an 8-round tubular magazine directly under the barrel, and an internal firing pin. Located behind the barrel’s breech, a swinging combat cylinder locks the bolt.

One piece of steel, which is highly reliable, is used to manufacture the receiver. The thick-walled receiver has been around for decades.

A wide range of accessories, including stocks, receiver guards, sights, belts, and cartridge mounts, are available for the Remington 870 because of its flexibility.

With a chrome-plated channel, the shotgun barrel has a thick wall and is made of 4140 steel. The barrel has a service life of at least 30,000 shots.

Remington 870 fuse is conveniently located; a larger fuse can be installed. A left-side safety button kit is also available. The Remington 870 is equipped with rifle sights and classic rifle sights.

With two pull rods, the Remington 870 handguard is more reliable. In addition, the shotgun’s forend has a Picatinny rail for mounting a flashlight or laser sight.

Remington Model 870 shotguns are relatively lightweight, giving them good mobility. As well as ensuring a simple and easy operation, the shotgun was designed to ensure reliability.

This shotgun has one significant advantage: “Remington 870 always goes bang!” The Remington 870 always shoots!”
